How to merge two PDF files into one

Select both PDFs, drag them into the order you want, and click Merge — your combined document downloads instantly. Works just as well with three, ten or fifty files. Because merging happens in your browser, contracts and statements never touch a server.

Two files, one document

The simplest case there is. Add both, put them in the right order, save. Nothing is re-encoded, so the result is exactly as sharp as the originals.

The order is the only thing to get right

Whichever file is first in the list becomes the front of the combined document. If you are attaching a signed page to a contract, or a covering letter to a CV, that ordering is the whole job.

If one file has a password

An encrypted PDF cannot be merged until it is decrypted. Remove the password first with Unlock PDF, which requires knowing it.

Frequently asked questions

Can the two PDFs have different page sizes?

Yes — pages keep their original sizes in the combined document.

Is there a file size limit?

No fixed limit. Large files simply take a few seconds longer since your own device does the work.
